Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church will exhibit drawings and paintings in the exhibit Gifts of Good Pleasure in its gallery through May 8, 611 Baltimore-Annapolis Blvd. in Severna Park.
The artists, Nancy Saarlas and Sharon West, have included traditional watercolor studies along with pen-and-ink drawings in this exhibit.
Saarlas holds multiple degrees in fine arts from the University of Illinois. She is resuming her fine arts career after devoting the past 25 years to the church.
West, who is employed by First Horizon Home Loans as a real estate manager for the Northeast and New England regions, lives in Severna Park. She attended Drexel University in Philadelphia, earning a degree in interior design with a minor in fine arts.
Gallery hours are from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and weekends by appointment. Information: 410-647-0135.
Love's healing power to be topic at services Sunday
Unity by the Bay Church will present Mahala Connelly speaking on "The Healing Power of Love" at the 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. services Sunday at 836 Ritchie Highway, Suite 18 in the Severna Park Business Center.
