Scranton/Wilkes-Barre at Ottawa: Last night's game between the Barons (7-6) and North Division leader Lynx (8-5) was postponed because of rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader July 9.

Double-A Eastern League

Erie 7, Bowie 3: The visiting Seawolves (8-6) scored four runs in the sixth inning and three in the eighth to beat the Baysox (5-9). David Espinosa and Juan Tejeda each homered in the eighth for Erie.

Single-A Carolina League

Salem 2, Frederick 1: The host Avalanche (4-9) won with a run in the 10th inning.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 11, Lake County 8: Juan Gutierrez had a two-run double and an RBI single for the host Shorebirds (9-4), who rallied from a one-run deficit by scoring four runs in the eighth inning. C.J. Smith had seven RBIs on Delmarva's homestand, increasing his season total to 11.
