On April 18, 2005, ALICE ROSE UPTON (nee Payne) of Glen Burnie, beloved wife of the late Calvert A. Upton and devoted mother of Calvert A. Upton and Carolyn U. Miller. Dear sister of Mary Schemm. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the family owned Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home, P.A., 421 Crain Hwy., S.E., Glen Burnie on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Services will be held on Friday at 11 A.M. in Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Hospice of the Chesapeake or Glen Burnie United Methodist Church will be officiated by the family.
