Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Anne Arundel County.

Northern District

Stabbing: A man reported being attacked by four men Monday in the 100 block of Alview Terrance in the Harundale area. The man said someone pulled a handgun on him just before he was stabbed. Robbery: Two juveniles reported they were held up by two other youths with handguns Tuesday in the 600 block of Furnace Branch Ave. in Ferndale. Cash and a cell phone were taken. County police believe the same pair robbed another juvenile in the area of Pleasantville Road and Tranton Road.


Psychiatric evaluation: A 39-year-old man was taken to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation after officers found him sitting with a metal pipe at Hammond Place and Glenwood Street. He told police that he had been assaulted and felt as if he was going to hurt himself or others. Burglary: A resident on Marcs Court reported that the front door to her apartment was broken and about $1,000 was taken.

Eastern District

Robbery: A 15-year-old student reported that he was robbed and assaulted Tuesday after being surrounded by eight to 10 boys while walking to Old Mill High School on Tuesday. One of the boys demanded and received cash from the victim. But the 15-year-old refused to turn over his cell phone and keys, and he was struck in the face. The group fled. The victim's parents took him to North Arundel Hospital to be treated.

Western District

Arrest: The search of an apartment Wednesday in the 800 block of Danza Road in Severn uncovered evidence from at least four thefts in the county, police said. Johnathan Lee Brewster, 23, a resident of the apartment, was arrested on multiple counts of theft. Arrest: A Gambrills man was arrested Monday after county police pulled over his 1997 Chevrolet truck and discovered he had an outstanding warrant. Police took him to his apartment, where they discovered 59.9 grams of marijuana, along with a scale, paraphernalia and $590. Jason Michael Blair Price, 21, was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and other charges. Carjacking-robbery: A pizza delivery driver reported that he was robbed Thursday night by three men who took his car and money in the 2000 block of Eagle Landing Court in Odenton. The driver said the robbers were wearing dark clothing and masks, and that one was carrying a shotgun.
