Indianapolis 13, Ottawa 8: After trailing 8-1, the host Indians (5-3) rallied for 12 runs to defeat the Lynx (4-4). The Indians had a season-high 17 hits.

Double-A Eastern League

Akron 5, Bowie 2: Jon Van Every hit a tie-breaking, two-run homerun in the sixth inning as the Aeros spoiled the Baysox's home opener.

Single-A Carolina League

Salem 6, Frederick 5: Pat Scalabrini's RBI single in the bottom of the seventh proved to be the game-winner as the host Keys (3-4) defeated the Avalanche (2-5).

Single-A South Atlantic League

West Virginia 8, Hagerstown 3: The host Power (1-7) used a four-run first inning for an early lead that the Suns (7-1) couldn't overcome.
