MARY VIRGINIA BLANKENSHIP CRAMER, 87, of Richmond, VA. Born July 12, 1917, to Ida Mimms and Charles Ashton Blankenship, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 13, 2005. She was the widow of Morris D. Cramer. She is survived by her sons, Morris Ashton Cramer, William Alexander Cramer and his wife Joyce and their children Kameron Ashley, Anna Louise, Kirn Augusta and James Alexander, Bryson Mimms Cramer and his wife Anne and their children, Erin Dalton, Alden Irene, Jaeda Anne and Bryson Charles; brother, William Waverly Blankenship and their cousins Charles Alford Blankenship and Beverly Blankenship Walsh. Mary Virginia was a loving mother, devoted wife, teacher and lifelong member of Central United Methodist Church. Family will receive friends at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt 10), from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Friday. Her Funeral Service will be held 11 am Saturday, April 16 at Central United Methodist Church, 13th & Porter Streets. Interment to follow in the family section at Forest Lawn Cemetery. She will be missed by all who knew her. DONALD RICHARD CURRENS; beloved husband of Barbara Currens (Larson); loving father of Laura Ann Catalfo and her husband Greg and John Andrew Currens and his wife Laurie; dear brother of Douglas Currens and his wife Marian; cherished grandfather of Kyle, Alex, Andrew and Hannah; life-long friend of Ralph Smith. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Road (beltway exit 26A), Thursday 7 to 9 P.M. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M., where a funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 P.M. Interment private. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Donald R. Currens Memorial Fund for Nursing Education in c/o Westminster Union Bank, 1631 N. Main St., Hampstead, MD. 21074.
