Poems and a cello

Where: Hodson Hall, Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus, 3400 N. Charles St.

When: 3 p.m. Sunday.

Why: Because cellist Gita Ladd will play Bach. And after the short recital, Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Galway Kinnell will read from his work. There will be a reception (food courtesy of Whole Foods) afterward. And, best of all, it is free.

Information: No reservations are needed. For more information, call 410-735-6009.
