Boston U. upsets Georgetown women

Senior midfielder Alyssa Trudel scored three goals and assisted on two to lead the No. 11 Boston University women's lacrosse team to a 10-8 upset over No. 4 Georgetown at Nickerson Field yesterday.

The win over the Hoyas is the biggest victory for fourth-year head coach Liza Shoemaker. It was just the third time in the program's 18-year history that the Terriers (10-1, 2-0 America East) have knocked off a team ranked in the top five in the nation.

Coco Stanwick had a team-leading three scores for the Hoyas (8-3, 3-0).
