Road work forces temporary closures on Howard St.

Crews will be painting striping on stretch of road Wednesday

Temporary lane closures will be in effect along Howard Street this week so that crews can paint roadway striping, the Baltimore City Department of Transportation announced.

The closures will be in effect along Howard Street from North Avenue to Dolphin Street from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

One lane of through traffic will be maintained in each direction while the work is being performed. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
