Capobianco, Rocco Anthony

On February 28, 2005, after a courageous struggle with pulmonary fibrosis, Rocco Anthony Capobianco, 80, went Home to his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Rocco was admired and loved for the kindness and respect with which he treated everyone. He led a life of service: to his country as a Navy seaman in WWII, to his Saviour as a devout Christian, and member of the Gideon's and Carroll Community Church, and to his family as a devoted husband and father of six. Rocco is survived by Ella Capobianco, his loving and treasured wife of 48 years, his daughters, Corinne Giannullo and her husband Joe, and Leslie Stark and her husband Adam, his sons, Cliff Capobianco and his wife Kim, and Steven Capobianco and his wife Sherry. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Cheryl Stephens, wife of Mickey, and Lisa Capobianco. Rocco delighted in his ten grandchildren, Anthony, Angela, Christine, Joshua, Karen, Micah, Alexander, Nicholas, Elliotand Braeden. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Maria Fruggiero, and many in-laws, nieces and nephews who he cherished as loving members of his family. Rocco's final selfless act was to donate his body to the Anatomy Board for research. There willbe no funeral service, however, a memorial service will be held at a future time.
