Triple-A International League

Louisville 4, Ottawa 1: The host Bats (2-0) defeated the Lynx (0-2) behind right-hander Jared Fernandez (2-0).

Trailing 3-1 in the sixth inning, Ottawa threatened when center fielder Tim Raines and third baseman Napoleon Calzado led off with back-to-back singles. With runners at second and third and no outs, Fernandez worked his way out of the jam by getting three straight groundouts.

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 5, Harrisburg 3: One night after getting 17 hits, the visiting Baysox had 15 hits in a win over the Senators (0-2).

Sendy Rleal (1-0) got the win for the Baysox (2-0) and Christopher Ray earned his first save.

Single-A Carolina League

Lynchburg 6, Frederick 0: Joshua Sharpless, Wardell Starling and David Mazurek combined to shutout the Keys (0-2) only allowing four hits.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 3, Lexington 1: Denver Kitch's two-run homer was all the Shorebirds (2-0) needed to beat the Legends (0-2).

Hagerstown 3, West Virginia 2: Dante Brinkley hit a bases-empty home run in the first inning as the host Suns (2-0) defeated the Power.
