No. 9 North Harford uses 11-run inning to roll past C.M. Wright in baseball, 15-4

Powered by a potent offense that scored 11 runs in the fourth inning, ninth-ranked North Harford defeated C. Milton Wright, 15-4, in a five-inning Harford County baseball game yesterday.

T.J. Jackson had two doubles, two RBIs and scored three runs and Eddie Svec hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning for visiting North Harford (5-1).

North Harford left-hander John Carlos got the victory and improved to 3-0.

Boys lacrosse

No. 6 Calvert Hall 9, Spalding 5: Led by Phillip Blevins (three goals), the visiting Cardinals (4-2) came alive late in the game to end a two-game losing streak.

Glenelg Country School 15, Chapelgate 5: Cory Rosen led the Dragons (5-0) with three goals in a victory over the visiting Yellow Jackets.

Girls lacrosse

No. 5 Severn 9, Maryvale 5: The Admirals (5-1) grabbed an early lead against the visiting Lions, then forced two late-game turnovers to seal the victory.

No. 6 St. Mary's 12, No. 9 Mount de Sales 9: Sam Schrum led the Saints (4-2) with five goals as they defeated the host Sailors (3-2).

No. 7 Roland Park 11, Seton Keough 9: After falling behind 3-1 early in the first half, the host Reds (1-1) came back to beat the Gators behind Cate Goytisolo (four goals).

John Carroll 7, Bryn Mawr 4: Vanderbilt-bound goalie Rachel Woolford paced the defense with 14 saves as the visiting Patriots improved to 5-1.

Perry Hall 15, Loch Raven 14: Kathleen Rossetti scored with a minute remaining in the second overtime period to give the host Gators (2-0) the win.
