ROMAN H. TESTROET SR., 70, of Columbia, MD passed away April 2, 2005. Roman was born in Ionia, Iowa to Bertha and Hubert Testroet on April 16, 1934. He grew up with two brothers, Philip Testroet of Lancaster, CA and the late Charles Testroet of Houma, LA. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years Donna K. Alvey Testroet of Owensboro, KY, son Roman H. Testroet II of Meriden, CT, daughter Kristie Stanton of Hamilton, OH, and son David M. Testroet of Richmond, VA. Roman was preceded by his son Stephen K. Testroet. Roman was in the Coast Guard and later worked for Western Kentucky Gas in Owensboro, KY and Bryant, Carrier Corporation, United Technologies before his retirement. He enjoyed his time at home with his loving wife, his three Yorkshire Terriers, Mikey, Sweetie and Maxwell, and visits from his children, their spouses and 8 grandchildren. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Columbia, MD and any contributions in his name may be made there. Roman had requested a private family service and will rest near his son Stephen in Arlington National Cemetery.
