Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Robbery/arrests: Two men were arrested Monday morning and charged with robbing the Little Tavern in the 6400 block of Holabird Ave. moments earlier. Officer Mark Frank was patrolling about 3 a.m. when he stopped two masked men running nearby. Recovered was $45 believed to have been stolen and a .22-caliber handgun. Charged with armed robbery and related offenses were Robert Williams, 19, of the 6300 block of Brown Ave. and Vincent Galeano, 20, of the 1600 block of Joplin St.

Burglary: A satellite receiver, two videocassette recorders and a circular saw - all worth $440 - were stolen Sunday from a house in the 6700 block of O'Donnell St.

Eastern District

Shooting: Jason Singleton was walking in the 700 block of E. 23rd St. about 9 p.m. Monday when someone shot him in an arm. With the aid of a friend, he went to Union Memorial Hospital for treatment.

Southwestern District

Shooting: Michael Robinson, 29, was in critical but stable condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the chest about 2 a.m. Monday in the 1100 block of Poplar Grove St. by an unknown assailant.

Northern District

Theft: Compact discs valued at $200 were stolen Monday from a 1991 Honda Accord parked in the first block of W. 24th St.

Central District

Theft: Someone broke into a 1998 Chevrolet sedan parked Monday in the 2100 block of Mount Royal Ave. and stole two DVDs.

Baltimore County

Franklin Precinct

Arson: Someone set fire to several air filters inside a closet containing mechanical equipment at Franklin High School about 8:20 a.m. Monday, causing minor damage.

Robbery try: A tow truck operator was about to take a vehicle from the 3700 block of Essex Road about 2 p.m. Monday when he was threatened by a man who demanded money. When the tow operator said he had none, the man fled.

Burglary: Cash and jewelry worth about $2,000 were stolen Monday from a house in the 7700 block of Grasty Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Burgary: A 1998 Suzuki motorcycle valued at $4,500 was stolen Monday from a backyard in the 6000 block of Barstow Road.
