A Note to Readers

April 03, 2005

In UniSun's second issue, we introduce readers to some fashionable faces around town. There are no restrictions on having a sense of style, as four area residents - a saleswoman, an executive assistant for a nonprofit, a train conductor and a radio disc jockey - show us. The four, who are profiled in our cover story, reveal that style can be whatever you make it.

UniSun also takes an opportunity in this issue to mark some special occasions in the community, including the 20th anniversary of Morgan State University's School of Engineering, the opening of Ravens' defensive player Ray Lewis' new restaurant, and the arrival of black engineers and CEOs for a conference celebrating their achievements.

Additionally, there are some familiar faces and features from the last issue. Harriette Cole continues to share advice on relationships with readers, and Sandra Pinckney is back with a new recipe - this time from her Aunt Marilyn. The Flashback feature on the Up Front page also returns to test readers' memories.

If you have comments and suggestions about UniSun, we welcome them.
