GEORGE JENKINS, 7/13/1927 - 2005 beloved husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was born on July 13, 1927 in Baltimore to the late Clarence and Emma Jenkins. He resided in Boca Raton, Florida with his wife, Phyllis Jenkins and was a former Baltimore native. Beloved husband of Phyllis Jenkins, brother of Ann Bevans, loving father to George Jenkins, Betty Jenkins, Georgeann Hubbard and Marie Mc Allister, David Jackson, grandfather and friend to eight grandchildren Tia Jenkins, Kristin Jenkins, Brenda Jones, Susan Menefee, Kathryn Conrad, Joseph Jenkins, George Jenkins, Jason Tano, Eric Hubbard and two great-grandchildren Steven and Nate Menefee; son-in-law Gordon Hubbard, niece Mary Ellen Munoz. He is preceded in death by four brothers Thomas, Ernest, Raymond, Robert Jenkins, William Jenkins and one sister Dorothy Woodall. George Jenkins served proudly in the U.S. Navy during World War II and retired as a truck driver from St. Johnsbury. His journey on earth ends here, but his true journey is just beginning. Relatives and friends may call LOUDON PARK FUNERAL HOME, 3620 Wilkens Ave., on Sunday, April 3, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where a funeral service will be held on Monday, April 4 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Crownsville Veterans Cemetery.
