Salisbury tops York for 38th straight win

Two-time defending NCAA Division III national champion Salisbury (9-0, 5-0 Capital Athletic Conference) defeated host York (2-5, 0-4) yesterday, 29-7, to record its 38th straight win.

Justin Smith and Dan Boyer had four goals each for the Sea Gulls.

Salisbury started each quarter with a run: 5-0 in the first, 6-0 in the second, 2-0 in the third and 4-0 in the fourth.


Catholic 9, Goucher 7: The host Cardinals (6-3, 2-2 CAC) broke a 5-5 tie in the second half with a 4-0 run to beat the Gophers (4-4, 3-2).

Swarthmore 10, Washington College 6: The host Garnet Tide (6-2, 1-1 Centennial Conference) scored the first four goals of the second half to beat the Shorewomen (3-6, 1-2).
