On Saturday March 26, 2005 HAROLD GIBSON, age 72, of Dover, formerly of Odenton and Glen Burnie, MD, died at Kent General Hospital, Dover. He spent most of his life in the Odenton and Glen Burnie area. He had owned and operated several restaurants: Debbie's Grs Carryout in Odenton, MD and Pat's in Fort Meade. He is survived by a beloved companion, Dorothy Sawyer; son Gary of Frederick, MD; two daughters, Debbie Darby and her fiance John Greenwald of Pasadena, MD and Chris Gibson-Turner and her husband Scott of Cambridge, Ohio; a stepson John Peer, Jr. of Dover and a stepdaughter Candy Peer also of Dover; two brothers Denver Ward of Tuscon, Arizona and Jr. Gibson of Baltimore, MD; two sisters Barbara Barineau of Knoxville, Tennessee and Elsie Bensley of Florida. Also surving are four granddaughters, Caitlyn, Renee, Ehrin an Nicolette. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 30th at noon at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
