Fatal shooting of Oliver man under investigation by police

Baltimore City police were investigating the death of an Oliver man who was found shot over the weekend in Southwest Baltimore.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 2700 block of Ellicott Drive at about 9 p.m. Saturday. They found 20-year-old Michael Goodwin of the 1200 block of Valley St. sitting in his vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head.

Goodwin was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later, said Baltimore police spokesman Troy Harris.

Police have made no arrests.
