On March 25, 2005, EUGENE A. SHILKO, 65, of New Freedom, PA., husband of Dolores A. (nee Holmes) Shilko, father of Kevin Eugene Shilko, son of Mary M. (nee Wensus) and the late Alfonso Eugene Shilko, brother of Mary E. Braukus, Donald J. and Paul P. Shilko. Mr. Shilko retired from Lucent Technologies, Hunt Valley, in 1999 after 30 years of service. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, March 31, at 10 A.M. from Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Middleport, PA. Friends may call at the J.J. Hartenstein Mortuary, 24 Second St., New Freedom, PA, on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. with a 7:30 Rosary Service conducted by Knights of Columbus Council 8891. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, 315 N. Constitution Ave., New Freedom, PA, 17349.
