Housing and Community Development Public Hearing

Citizens are invited to comment on the county's application for fiscal 2005 federal funding under the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and Home Investment Partnerships Program (HOME). The programs provide funds for housing and community development activities, such as housing rehabilitation, economic development, job training, transportation and homeownership assistance, for low- and moderate-income residents. The hearing will be held at 7 p.m. in the fifth-floor executive conference room of the Gateway Building, 6751 Columbia Gateway Drive, Columbia.

LANDFILL

Hours: Alpha Ridge Landfill, 2350 Marriottsville Road in Marriottsville, will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays, except some holidays.
