Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Homicide victim named: A man who was fatally shot about 7 p.m. March 18 in the 3700 block of Chinquapin Parkway has been named by city police as Garkoy Met, 25. The victim was shot once in the chest by a man who robbed him of $26, said homicide Detective Warren Diaz. Anyone with information about the gunman's identity can call Diaz at 410-396-2100.

Western District

Shooting: A 16-year-old boy was walking in the 1600 block of Moreland Ave. about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday when someone shot him in the right leg. He was treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Northern District

Burglary: About $3,000 worth of video games and game accessories were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 1400 block of Union Ave.

Burglary: Two DVD players, DVDs and 10 model cars were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 4100 block of Falls Road.

Northwestern District

Burglary: A large quantity of lunch meat was stolen Tuesday from a warehouse in the 3300 block of Henry G. Parks Jr. Circle.

Southern District

Burglary: Someone entered a Citgo station in the 900 block of E. Patapsco Ave. early Wednesday through a window and stole a 9-inch television, a flashlight and a mountain bicycle.

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, entered Sid's Tavern in the 1100 block of Washington Blvd. about 2 a.m. Wednesday and ordered several patrons and employees to place their hands on the bar. More than $200 was taken from a cash register, along with an undisclosed sum from a bag with lottery receipts and a bottle of liquor.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Theft attempt/arrest: A Davidsonville woman was arrested Wednesday afternoon when she tried to purchase a 42-inch TV from Sears at White Marsh Mall using $500 in Sears gift cards bought with a stolen credit card. After a store loss-prevention officer became suspicious of the sale and learned that the card had been stolen, he stopped her in the merchandise pickup area. Charged with theft of the card and attempted theft of the TV was Carla Carter, 25, of the 1500 block of Manor View Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Bank robbery: A man carrying an umbrella robbed Sun Trust Bank in the 600 block of Frederick Road of an undisclosed sum about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday after giving a teller a note demanding money.
