Portion of Baltimore Street to close overnight

Temporary detours around Annapolis Road I-295 access ramp also announced

The city Department of Transportation today announced that a portion of Baltimore Street will close tonight for resurfacing work.

Baltimore Street will be closed to through traffic between Paca and Howard streets from 11 p.m. until noon tomorrow, officials said. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Eastbound Baltimore Street traffic will be detoured north on Paca Street, east on Saratoga Street, south on Liberty Street, back to Baltimore Street, according to the department.

Additionally, city transportation officials said the Annapolis Road access ramp to southbound Interstate 295 will temporarily close this weekend for tree-trimming activities.

The access ramp will be closed to through traffic from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. tomorrow, authorities said.

Traffic will be detoured east on Waterview Avenue, north on Annapolis Road, east on Manokin Street, to the I-295 access ramp.
