Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Victim named: Yesterday, police identified George Smith, 18, whose address was not available, as the man found fatally shot Monday night on a porch in the 2200 block of W. North Ave. No arrest had been made.

Central District

Theft: A jacket and a purse containing cash and personal property were stolen Wednesday from a parked Jeep Cherokee in the first block of S. Gay St.

Northeastern District

Burglary: Two DVD players, 100 DVDs, two guitars and a TV were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 3400 block of Brendan Ave.

Southern District

Robbery: The owner of Jack's Cafe was walking to the restaurant in the 700 block of Scott St. about 11 a.m. Tuesday when three men robbed her of more than $200.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Cigarettes were stolen Tuesday from Krausher's market in the 300 block of Stemmers Run Road.-
