On March 14, 2005, CATHERINE "CASS" ANNA SCHULTZ, 87, died at Manor Care Nursing Home in Dallastown, PA. She was the loving and devoted wife of the late William Henry Schultz. A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her two sons, Henry Louis and wife Bonnie of Westminster, MD and James Edward and wife Paula of Shrewsbury, PA. Survived by eight grandchildren, Mary Gatto, James E. Jr., Denise Sowinski, Barbara Rodriguez, Michael T., Henry L. Jr., Aaron, and Leah. Also survived by ten great-grandchildren and one brother, James Rund of Jacksonville, FL. She was born January 2, 1918 in Baltimore. She was the daughter of the late George W. and Mary E. Rund. Cass graduated from Seton High School in 1936. She worked as a waitress for Haussner's Restaurant until her marriage in 1941. She was a longtime Highlandtown resident and an active member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and the Holy Family Society, where she participated in the many fundraising events: bingo, carnival and dinners. She will always be remembered for her ever famous cakes and sweets. Relatives and friends may gather at Charles S. Zeiler and Son, Inc., 6224 Eastern Avenue (at Folcroft Street), on Wednesday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M., where a Christian Wake Service will be held at 7:30 P.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, on Thursday at 10 A.M. Interment Sacred of Jesus Cemetery.
