Blast tonight

Matchup: Blast (13-15) vs. Cleveland Force (12-13)

Site: Wolstein Center, Cleveland

Time: 7:35

Radio: WCBM (680 AM)

Outlook: Cleveland is fifth in the Major Indoor Soccer league standings, a half-game behind the expansion Chicago Storm, which holds the fourth and final playoff spot. The Force is also a half-game ahead of the Blast, which is in sixth place in the seven-team league. The Blast is on a two-game winning streak. While its road record is just 4-8, two of those four victories came at the Wolstein Center. The Blast leads the season series, 3-1, but lost the last meeting with the Force, 6-4. That Force victory broke a 10-game losing run to the Blast. The Blast is led by Chile Farias, who is second in the league in scoring, while Cleveland is led by team captain John Ball, who has produced six points against the Blast. The Blast will be without Denison Cabral, Adilson De Lima and Carlos Garcia, all of whom are out following knee operations, and Michal Millwood (groin) and Billy Nelson (ankle). Scott Schweitzer (groin) is questionable.
