Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Shooting: A man was shot three times in the back on a basketball court behind the 2500 block of W. Baltimore St. about 7:30 p.m. yesterday and was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment. Two men seen running from the scene were being sought. His condition was not immediately known.

Northwestern District

Robbery: Police were seeking a man who robbed a woman, 70, of six money orders totaling nearly $162 as she walked in the 3200 block of Avondale Ave. about noon Friday. The robber had implied he was armed with a handgun.

Southern District

Robbery: Two male employees of a private trash collector were working in the 1700 block of Light St. about noon Saturday when one assaulted the other and robbed him of $50. The victim was treated for minor injuries at Harbor Hospital. No arrest had been made.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into Big Falls Inn in the 11800 block of Philadelphia Road through a rear kitchen door early Saturday and removed an undisclosed sum of money from vending machines.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A camera, a lens, a cellular phone and two purses containing money were stolen Saturday from a house in the 700 block of Maplehurst Lane by someone who entered through a door.
