On March 4, 2005, MARGARET ELLEN HARFORD BRITT, beloved wife of the late Franklin Clay Britt, Sr., devoted mother of Franklin C. Britt, Jr. and wife Jo Ann, Brenda Kay Gillingham and husband Gary. Also survived by four grandchildren, Laura Zorn, Kimberlee Coffee, Jennifer Yates, Andrea Britt and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her father Wilbert Harford, her mother Laura Christopher and stepfather Bryan Christopher. Services will be held at the family owned Mc Comas Funeral Home in Abingdon, MD on Monday, March 7, 2005 at 12:30 P.M. Interment will be in Parkwood Cemetery, Baltimore, MD. Friends may call at the funeral home in Abingdon on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M.
