On February 26, 2005, Gy Sgt. JOHN PATRICK MAGNUS, USMC, Retired. Dear brother of Jo Ann Wilcox and her husband James. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Annie Mary and John Magnus, two sisters Lilly Irene Trobis and Emmie Marie Lux. Mr Magnus graduated from St. Gerard High School in San Antonio, TX and then entered the US Marine Corp. and served for over 20 years. He was also a member of the American Legion and VFW Post #9083. A memorial service will be held at the family owned Leonard J. Ruck Inc. Funeral Home, 5305 Harford Rd. (at Echodale) on Wednesday 1 P.M. Interment private.
