Terror women rule Centennial tourney again

Defending champion McDaniel defeated host Dickinson, 70-54, yesterday to win its third Centennial Conference women's basketball tournament championship in four seasons.

Kelly Cramp and Heather Thompson led the way with 12 points apiece for the Green Terror (25-3).

The win avenged a 65-62 loss to the Red Devils (24-3) on Dec. 5.

Towson 67, North Carolina Wilmington 59: LaShay Rose scored 11 points in the second half as the Tigers (15-13, 8-9 Colonial Athletic Association) rallied from a nine-point deficit to defeat the host Seahawks (7-19, 4-13).

Men

Keystone 79, Villa Julie 70: The host Giants (24-4, 14-2) built a five-point lead at the half and controlled the game in the second half to beat the Mustangs (18-9, 12-4) for the North Eastern Athletic Conference title.

Wade Henninger led Villa Julie with 29 points and 10 rebounds.
