On Monday, February 21, 2005, C. CAROL ALFONSI, of Salisbury, born in Baltimore and a former resident of Ocean City died at her home, devoted wife of Paul Joseph Alfonsi of Salisbury; beloved mother of Christina M. Alfonsi and her fiance Douglas Freeman of Clarksville, DE. Mrs. Alfonsi and her husband were the owners and operators of the Chalet Motel and Apartments in Ocean City for over 30 years. Friends may call at the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin on Thursday, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Savior Catholic Church, 17th Street and Philadelphia Avenue, Ocean City, on Friday, at 11 A.M., where friends may call 1 hour prior to the Mass. Interment in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church Building Fund, 212 Kingfish Drive, Ocean City, MD 21842 or Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21082.2005, EUGENE F. BANKARD, beloved husband of Connie T. Bankard (nee Balsarick); loving father of Debra Stillwagner, Connie Davis, Gene Bankard, Joseph Bankard and Timothy Bankard; loving brother of George Bankard, Anna Szymanowski, Regina Lovejoy, Patricia Metcalfe, and the late Marie Aupperly, Alphonse Bankard and Bertha Gilley. Also survived by twelve grandchildren. Friends may call at the family owned Ruck Towson Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 York Rd. (beltway exit 26A), on Wednesday and Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M., A funeral Mass will celebrated at the Church of the Nativity, Ridgely Rd., on Friday at 10 A.M. Interment Holly Hill Cemetery.
