Le Tigre at Sonar

Hipster trio Le Tigre plays at Sonar on Monday. The feminist punk band -- whose members have been on the anti-Iraq War protest train -- is touring with Lesbians on Ecstasy and Willpower.

Emok at Fletcher's

Israeli natives Emok rock Fletcher's tomorrow night. The band left the kibbutz circuit and relocated to Brooklyn several years ago. This month, the group released a new record, Emok.

Katz and Peace Train

Sharon Katz and Peace Train arrive at Creative Alliance at the Patterson on Saturday. Katz, a Grammy-nominated artist, is known for organizing large-scale performances (more than 500 artists in a group that toured South Africa). This show will be a bit smaller, though.
