Blast take five in amateur draft

The Baltimore Blast selected five college players in today's MISL Amateur Draft.

The Blast's territorial round pick was UMBC forward Derek McElligott, who recorded 106 points in four seasons at UMBC.

Matt Oliver (Virginia) was the Blast's first-round pick while Towson defender Steve Fell was chosen in the second round.

Kevon Harris (Old Dominion) and Noah Palmer (Maryland), were third and fourth round choices.
