Envy Me -- Gucci

Notes: Peony, jasmine, pink pepper, lychee, pomegranate, pineapple, pink musk, seringa, white tea, sandalwood, teakwood, sensual musk

Like a woman, there's nothing simple about this fragrance. It's sweetly complicated: fruity, musky and floral all at once. The tea and musk hints make it seductive and sexy, while the pomegranate and pineapple say girlie and fun.

Echo Woman -- Davidoff

Notes: Raspberry, grape granita, iris, osmanthus, crystal amber, violet wood, grappa

Echo Woman, fruity but floral, is available this month in fine department stores. The scent's unique notes were inspired by a fruity drink. It's fun, fresh and feminine. Even the pink bottle looks like a delicious fruit.

Eau de parfum, 1.7 ounces, $52. Available at Hecht's and Macy's.

Sea Scents

The latest perfumes float in on tropical breezes

Remember your last Caribbean vacation? Ahhh, the smell of the crisp blue water lapping against the white sand. The scent of your sun-kissed skin, glowing with coconut-tinged sunscreen. The aroma of that frothy pina colada with the pineapple garnish!

Don't you wish you could bottle those heavenly scents and carry them around with you?

That must have been what fragrance manufacturers had in mind when they came up with some of the hot scents introduced this season.

"Whether they're citrusy and fruity, or light and fresh and clean, they're everywhere," said Diana Byrne, beauty editor at Allure magazine. "The perfumers are trying to create things that are a little bit more complex. They want to continue with the fruity scents, but they're saying, 'Let's blend it with something that's not so airy and fresh.' So you can be more sensual, and you won't smell like everyone else."

Miami Glow -- J.Lo

Notes: Passion fruit, coconut water, black currant, orange flower, heliotrope, sun-baked sand, amber, vanilla orchid, crystal musk

When Jennifer Lopez said she was "Jenny from the block," she must have meant that hip and sexy block right around South Beach. Her new fragrance, Miami Glow, is about as far away from New York as you can get. Available this month in fine department stores, Miami Glow is "tropic-cool meets blazing sun with a hot cocktail vibe, all its own," her distributors said.

As proof that her fragrance is perfect for sandy sunsets, this heady cocktail comes adorned with a colorful beach bracelet finished with a bronzed flip-flop charm.

Eau de toilette natural spray, 1.7 ounces, $42. Available at Hecht's and Macy's.

Rockin' Rio -- Escada

Notes: Tangerine, pineapple, papaya, pina colada, sugar cane, bush peach, sea breeze, coconut juice, driftwood, sandalwood, powder of musk.

Escada had fun with this perfume. The company says this fruity, floral, citrus-infusion scent is alive with "the sensual rhythm of the samba." It blends tropical flowers and juicy fruits, and "exudes the casual glamour of the Copacabana."

Eau de toilette spray, $50 for 1.7 ounces. Available at Sephora stores and
