ISSUE: Harford County school officials are considering imposing job-related courses and class projects.

PRO: Some educators see these changes as a way to better prepare high school students for college or a career.

CON: Foes of the proposal argue that adding to current graduation requirements is unfair and that students are often too young to make meaningful career decisions.
