Blast tonight

Matchup: Blast (11-13) vs. Kansas City Comets (9-12)

Site: 1st Mariner Arena

Time: 7:35

Radio: WCBM (680 AM)

Outlook: The Blast sits a half-game out of the last playoff spot heading into tonight's game. (The Chicago Storm, which holds fourth place, also is in action.) The Blast is coming off a 7-2 loss to the Milwaukee Wave on Sunday, in which the Wave took a 5-0 lead in the second period. The Blast's Giuliano Celenza is in a three-way tie for the league lead in goals with Kansas City's Dino Delevski and the Philadelphia KiXX's Kevin Sloan at 21. Delevski also is a point behind the Blast's Chile Farias (35) for the MISL lead in points. However, Kansas City's goaltending is statistically the worst in the league.
