LORETTA M. FOLKS, age 91, of Ashland, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday February 13, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Ashland. she was born May 5, 1913 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of Frederick and Caroline (Schlotte) Myers. On May 19, 1919, she married Ferdinand Folks, Jr., in Maryland. Loretta was a professional seamstress. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Prince Frederick, Maryland. Loretta enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading and spending time with her family. She is survived by four daughters, Joan Springham, Baltimore, MD., Carol Bays, St. Leonard, MD., Loretta (Edward) Vopat, Moquah, Wis. and Linda (Leon, Jr.) Gilbert, Moquah, Wis., a son Ferdinand (Anita) Folks, Oak Island, N.C.; 22 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ferdinand on May 18, 1994; a son, Clifton, three brothers and four sisters. A funeral service was held 7 P.M. Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Frost Home for Funerals in Ashland, Wis., with Rev. Myron Anderson officiating. Visitation was held from 5 to 7 P.M. Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Frost Home for Funerals in Ashland. Funeral services will also be held 2 P.M. Monday, February 21, 2005 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Prince Frederick, MD. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 P.M. Sunday, February 20, 2005 and 1 to 1:30 P.M. on Monday, February 21, 2005 at Rausch Funeral Home, Port Republic, MD.
