A Montana man whose photograph engaging in a sex act with a boy was downloaded from the Internet by an FBI agent in Maryland pleaded guilty yesterday to a child-pornography charge in Baltimore's federal court.

Thomas Evered, a 39-year-old truck driver from Lolo, Mont., turned himself in at his sister's urging in February 2004 after his picture aired on the Fox network television show America's Most Wanted.

Evered pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Catherine C. Blake to sexually exploiting a minor boy for the purpose of producing child pornography.

Evered faces 15 to 30 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
