Brady at Rams Head

Irish crooner Paul Brady hangs at Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis Tuesday. The folk artist has been playing in various bands since the 1960s and is on a U.S. tour.

African music concert

Corey Harris - who provided music for HBO's gritty tale of Baltimore's drug culture The Corner - will play traditional African music at Loyola College Saturday. The performance will include some of his own songs and classic blues.

Dance party

The people who bring Mousetrap to the Black Cat in Washington are expanding northward. On Sunday at the Ottobar, Mark Zimin presides over the Baltimore version of the Distric's popular Brit-pop dance night. At this point, it is a monthly gig.
