Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Homicide/arrest: Donte Burley of the 2700 block of Tivoly Ave., who was charged in warrants with first-degree murder and attempted armed robbery, surrendered to the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on Monday night and was being held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center. Burley, 18, is charged with shooting Lyndell Honeyblue, 31, of the 900 block of Gorsuch Ave. during an attempted robbery in the 3100 block of Ellerslie Ave. about 12:15 a.m. Dec. 29. The victim, a member of a gospel choir, died a short time later at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Robbery: A gunman robbed a man, 23, of his cell phone in the 200 block of W. 31st St. about 8 p.m. Monday.

Burglary: Thirty-five leather coats -- all worth $5,250 -- were stolen Monday from Blackstone Menswear in the 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. by someone who entered through a second-floor window.

Robbery: A 58-year-old woman was stepping from her car in an alley in the 200 block of Greenwood Gardens about 6:30 p.m. Monday when a gunman robbed her of $160.

Robbery: A 43-year-old man was walking in the 800 block of E. 43rd St. about 10 a.m. Monday when a man struck him with a baseball bat and took $147. He was treated for minor injuries at Union Memorial Hospital.

Eastern District

Arrest: Officer Michael Spinnato was in the 1800 block of N. Collington Ave. about 8:30 p.m. Monday when he observed a young man with a handgun. After a foot chase of several blocks, Spinnato arrested the suspect and seized a Lorcin .380 semiautomatic handgun. Charged with handgun possession was Derrick Vaughn, 18, of the 2700 block of Mathews St.

Drug arrest: A 14-year-old boy was arrested Friday by Officer Terry Ball, who reported seeing the youth selling drugs in the 1700 block of Aisquith St. about 5 p.m. Monday. Seized by Bell were 18 vials of cocaine, each valued at $10. The youth was charged as a juvenile with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute and sent to the city Juvenile Detention Center.

Robbery: Samuel Ross, 42, was about to enter a relative's home in the 900 block of N. Kenwood Ave. about 9:20 p.m. Monday when two men, one with an unknown weapon, robbed him of $80, a watch and his gold wedding ring.

Southeastern District

Robbery: Robert O'Brien, 53, was walking in the 200 block of S. Central Ave. about 2 p.m. Monday when a gunman robbed him of $29.

Theft: Stereo equipment valued at $900 was stolen over the weekend from a 1997 Toyota Corolla parked in the 1700 block of Aliceanna St.

Southern District

Theft: Power tools valued at $450 were stolen Monday from a 2005 Ford van parked in the 400 block of S. Charles St.

Northeastern District

Stolen vehicle: A green 1996 Nissan Maxima with tags 4AD 686 was stolen over the weekend in the 1500 block of Havenwood Road.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Assault: Police were seeking the man who struck Myron Ashe, 24, in the head during an incident at the Ridge Inn in the 4500 block of Ridge Road on Feb. 11. Ashe fell to the floor and sustained a serious head injury, and was reported in critical but stable condition at Franklin Square Hospital Center.

Theft/arrest: Charges of theft were pending against a 28-year-old female employee who attempted to leave Wal-Mart in the 6400 block of Petrie Way on Monday without paying for a DVD player and clothing -- all valued at $300.

North Point Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A blue 1993 Plymouth van with tags M714359 was stolen Monday in the 1600 block of Four Georges Court.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Two bicycles were stolen from a garage in the 2900 block of Grendon Lane between Jan. 28 and Monday.
