Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Shooting: Kenyon Goolesby, 23, remained in critical condition yesterday at Sinai Hospital after being shot at least twice in the lower back about 10:40 p.m. Sunday by an unknown assailant while walking to a lounge in the 2600 block of Oswego Ave.

Southern District

Robbery/arrest: A 51-year-old woman was about to enter an apartment building in the 1100 block of Cherry Hill Road about 12:30 a.m. Sunday when a teenage male struck her in the face with an unknown weapon and stole her purse. Minutes later, Officer Richelle McQueen arrested a 17-year-old in the 1100 block of Shellbanks Road and recovered the victim's property. The youth was charged as a juvenile with robbery.

Robbery: A gunman robbed Food King in the 3400 block of Annapolis Road of more than $200 about 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Southwestern District

Theft: A CD player and a radio were stolen Sunday from a 1997 Chevrolet Lumina parked in the 4500 block of Dunland Road.

Southeastern District

Assault: A 65-year-old woman was driving east in the 200 block of Eastern Ave. about 2 p.m. Sunday when someone threw a rock from a railroad overpass that shattered her car's windshield. She was not injured.

Burglary: Cash, several T-shirts, boxes of cigars and a large assortment of cigarettes were stolen Sunday from One Plus One Grocery & Deli in the 2700 block of Orleans St. The loss was put at $1,300.

Burglary/vandalism: Someone broke into Joseph Lee Recreation Center in the 3900 block of E. Pratt St. over the weekend through the front door, tossed paint onto floors and damaged other parts of the building.

Robbery: A woman, 27, was walking in the 100 block of N. Kenwood Ave. about 7 p.m. Sunday when two males stole her purse containing $30, credit cards and other property.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A 24-year-old man was walking in the garage at Towson Town Center about 3 p.m. Sunday when he was stopped by three men, one of whom asked for a cigarette and bus fare money. Before he could respond, the trio assaulted him and robbed him of $300. The victim drove to Sinai Hospital, and was treated there for minor injuries.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Koons Chevrolet in the 10200 block of Philadelphia Road Sunday and stole a safe containing an undisclosed sum of money.

Wilkens Precinct

Vandalism: Someone punctured more than a dozen tires on several cars over the weekend in the 800 block of Braeside Road.
