Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Theft: Someone broke into a 1999 Dodge Caravan parked in the 200 block of Wilson St. on Saturday and stole a car radio, cell phone and cassette player face plate - all valued at $500.

Southeastern District

Robbery: Dion Edwards, 29, was walking in the 600 block of N. Kenwood Ave. about 1:30 a.m. Saturday when he was attacked by three males who robbed him of an income tax return check for $1,417.

Robbery: Police were seeking four males who attacked Juan Paredes, 50, as he walked in the 1000 block of Stiles St. about 4 p.m. Saturday and robbed him of his cell phone.

Southwestern District

Stolen vehicle: A silver 2001 Dodge Intrepid with tags 6ADJ93 was stolen over the weekend in the 4900 block of Challedon Road.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Arrest: A Southwest Baltimore man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder in the shooting of his girlfriend during an argument in her apartment in the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle on Saturday night. Deneen Smith, 24, was in critical condition yesterday with a head wound at Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Sheldon Harrison, 23, of the 2700 block of Norland Road, was arrested moments after the shooting in an apartment nearby.

Assault/arrests: Two West Baltimore brothers were arrested Friday night and charged with assaulting two other youths during a dance at the county's Western School of Technology in the 100 block of Kenwood Ave. The victims were treated at Northwest Hospital Center for minor injuries. A 17-year-old was charged as an adult with assault, while his brother, 16, was charged as a juvenile.

Essex Precinct

Robbery: Four teenage males were involved in selling marijuana in the 700 block of S. Marlyn Ave. about noon Friday when two of them assaulted the others and robbed them of $140.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Paint and paint-spraying equipment valued at $4,150 was stolen over the weekend from the body shop of Heritage Chrysler-Jeep in the 9200 block of Harford Road.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A man with a knife robbed The Avenue clothing store at Towson Marketplace in the 1200 block of Putty Hill Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: A woman, 22, was walking along Reisterstown Road near Clarendon Avenue in Pikesville about 1:30 p.m. Saturday when she was robbed of cash and a cell phone by a man who implied having a handgun.-
