On February 9, 2005, ANN RAE; beloved wife of Frank "Butch" Kwiatkoski; devoted mother of Raeann Glass and her husband Robert, Patrick Kwiatkoski and his wife Pam; loving grandmother of Robert Glass, Jr. and Jason Glass; sister of William Beere and the late Michael Beere. Christian Wake Service at Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A., 1201 Dundalk Avenue, on Sunday at 7:15 P.M. Funeral Mass in St. Brigid's Church, on Monday at 10 A.M. Interment in Oak Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours Saturday and Sunday, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M.2005, ALICE Mac KENZIE of Howard County departed this life . She was born Alice Mae Glasgow on April 10, 1917 in Halifax County, N.C. Upon graduation from Meredith College, Alice Mae taught History and Mathematics in Surrey, Virginia and during WWII worked at Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock. It was during this time that she met her future husband, Jean Edward Mac Kenzie. Just after the war, Alice and Jean were married in Albuquerque, NM and moved to Baltimore. She taught in the Baltimore City School System for twenty years, many of them at Rock Glen Junior High School, now known as West Baltimore Middle School. Most recently, she had been a member of both the Faithful Circle and the Milltown quilting groups in Howard County. Her sons Douglas and Kenneth, and her grandsons Alexander and Gavin survive her. Family visitation is planned for Sunday, February 13 from 3 to 5 P. M at the Harry H. Witzke's Family Funeral Home on Old Columbia Pike in Ellicott City. A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 14, at 11 A. M at Second English Lutheran Church in Baltimore. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
