A woman was fatally shot and her boyfriend wounded last night in a Northeast Baltimore rowhouse. The homicide was one of four unrelated killings in the city since Wednesday evening, police said.

Northeastern District officers responding to a reported double shooting about 7 p.m. found the woman and her companion lying together on the tiny front porch of a house in the 2600 block of Robb St., said homicide Detective John Riddick. Their names were not divulged.

The woman died of a head wound at Johns Hopkins Hospital, where the man was being treated for a shoulder wound, police said. The woman's estranged husband later surrendered and was questioned about the shooting, police said.

Also last night, an unidentified man was shot in the neck and chest in Northwest Baltimore and died at Sinai Hospital. Police said he was found about 10:40 p.m. near Chelsea Terrace and West Forest Park Avenue by officers responding to a 911 call.

About 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, police found George Ronald Blische Jr., 25, lying on the pavement in the 3000 block of E. Fayette St. Blische, of the 100 block of N. Decker Ave., had been shot in the back and died at Hopkins at 1:40 a.m., police said.

About two hours after that shooting, police responded to another in the 100 block of S. Conkling St. Three men had been standing on the corner of Pratt and Conkling streets when a man carrying a basket of flowers approached and started shooting, police said.

Antonio Wright, 18, of the 100 block of S. Janney St., shot in the upper body, was pronounced dead at Hopkins at 10:31 p.m. Another man sustained a minor facial wound, police said.
