Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Stabbing: Maurice Brown, 22, told police he was stabbed in the back about 1 a.m. yesterday after going to the aid of a friend who was being assaulted by several other males in the 5 Seasons Club in the 400 block of Guilford Ave. Brown was taken by a friend to Mercy Medical Center, and released after treatment.

Theft from vehicle: At least 150 music compact discs- all valued at $500 - were stolen Wednesday from a 2000 Honda Civic parked in a garage in the 700 block of E. Lombard St.

Northeastern District

Robbery: Police were seeking two men, one with a handgun, who robbed Crestlyn Food Market in the 3800 block of Crestlyn Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: Thirty CDs, several toys, a wallet and a gym bag containing clothing were stolen Wednesday from a 2001 Jeep parked in a garage at the Harbor Court Hotel.

Theft: Power tools valued at $700 were stolen Tuesday from a 1999 Chevrolet van parked in the 1600 block of Wicomico St.

Stolen vehicle: A 2000 Isuzu sport utility vehicle with tags 51H635 was stolen Wednesday after it ran out of gas and was left parked on the shoulder of Interstate 95 near Washington Boulevard.

Assault: A 53-year-old man was talking to several youths at the front door of his home in the 1300 block of James St. about 7 p.m. Wednesday when one of the youths pointed a handgun at him. When the youths threatened to enter the home by kicking the door down, the man forced it shut and a relative called police.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A 4-carat diamond ring valued at $20,000 was stolen Wednesday from the bedroom of a house in the 4700 block of Carroll Manor Road by someone who entered through a window.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Several video games and 250 DVD movies - all valued at $3,000 - were stolen Wednesday from the basement of a house in the 1500 block of Williams Ave. by someone who entered through a rear door.

Burglary: Someone broke into a house in the 500 block of Chalkot Square through a basement door Wednesday and stole video games valued at $370.

Franklin Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A maroon 2002 Chrysler Town & Country van with tags M95L970 was stolen Wednesday in the first block of Dancer Court.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: A pizza deliveryman was taking two pizzas to an apartment in the 2000 block of Richglen Drive about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of $60, his cell phone and the food.

White Marsh Precinct

Theft from vehicle: Tools valued at $1,600 were stolen yesterday from a locked tool box in the bed of a pickup truck parked in the 8000 block of Locust Ave.
