General Motors Corp. workers in Baltimore will receive about 70 percent of their regular take-home pay after taxes and other deductions when placed on layoff status, according to the plant's union. A front-page article yesterday incorrectly reported the amount.

An article in yesterday's editions of The Sun reported incorrectly the name of the vice president for government affairs of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce. He is Ronald W. Wineholt.

A Jan. 9 Home & Family article about families dining together misstated a 1998 survey result by the National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse at Columbia University. The survey found that 47 percent of American teenagers ate an evening meal with their family at least five nights a week.

The Sun regrets the errors.
