Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Arrest: Members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force entered a house in the first block of Fernsell Court in Rosedale early yesterday and arrested resident Troy Veney on a charge of first-degree murder. Veney, 19, is charged in a warrant with shooting Terry Street, 23, of the 1200 block of Appleleaf Court on Jan. 29 as the victim and another man sat in a car outside a recreation center in the 200 block of Aisquith St.

Burglary: A laptop computer, DVD player and bicycle - all valued at $1,600 - were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 100 block of N. Broadway.

Western District

Suspect sought: Malik Vandiver, 16, of the 2900 block of Parkwood Ave., has been charged as an adult in a warrant with first-degree murder in the Jan. 8 shooting of Bayonna Cox, 29, in her home in the 2500 block of Francis St. Metro Crime Stoppers offered a reward of up to $2,000, and the city police Warrant Apprehension Task Force $500, for information leading to Vandiver's arrest.

Stolen vehicle: A black 2000 Honda Accord with tags 93181CB was stolen Monday from a gas station in the 2500 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway. It had been left there with a key in the ignition.

Central District

Theft: A snare drum and case valued at $439 were stolen Monday from a Chevrolet truck parked in a garage in the first block of W. Saratoga St.

Southern District

Theft: A set of golf clubs and a travel bag were stolen Monday from a 2002 Toyota Corolla parked in the 200 block of E. Randall St.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A 44-year-old man was approaching his parked car in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. about 9:35 p.m. Monday when two men robbed him of $40 and a cell phone.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Bank robbery: A man robbed Provident Bank in the 1000 block of York Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 10:45 a.m. Monday after giving a teller a note saying he had a bomb.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Steve's Family Restaurant in the 11000 block of Pulaski Highway in late January and stole $1,500 from poker machines. The incident was reported Monday.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Two TVs, clothing, shoes and purses were stolen Monday from an apartment in the 4000 block of Marjeff Place.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Baseball cards valued at $100 were stolen Monday from a house in the 200 block of Bloomsbury Ave.
