Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southeastern District

Arrest: Marcus Byrd, 20, was arrested Tuesday at his home in the 300 block of Forrest St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on warrants charging him with first-degree murder and attempted murder. He is charged with shooting two men seated in a car parked outside a recreation center in the 200 block of Aisquith St. on Jan. 29. Terry Street, 23, of the 1200 block of Appleleaf Court was killed. Joseph Gill, 27, of the 200 block of St. Matthews St. was wounded.

Western District

Robbery: William Love, 25, of Glen Burnie was standing at Fulton Avenue and Lexington Street about 4 p.m. Tuesday when a man stepped from a gray Ford Crown Victoria and told Love he was a police officer. The man - who did not display a badge - robbed Love of $130 and drove away.

Assault: A 13-year-old girl told police she was walking in the 1600 block of N. Gilmor St. about 11:40 a.m. Monday when she was stopped by two other girls, one with a handgun. During an exchange of words, the armed girl pointed the weapon at the victim and said, "You mess with my friend and you mess with me." The victim was not harmed.

Robbery: A 20-year-old woman was walking in the first block of S. Fremont Ave. about 12:30 a.m. yesterday when she was assaulted by two men and robbed of a cell phone valued at $200.

Central District

Theft: A leather carrying bag containing $400 was stolen Tuesday from a 2005 Toyota Corolla parked in the first block of W. Lombard St.

Southern District

Theft: Someone entered an apartment in the 900 block of Cherry Hill Road Monday and stole a wireless microphone valued at $500. The theft was reported Tuesday.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry, clothing and several DVDs - all valued at $3,800 - were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 100 block of Aspen Wood Way.

Burglary: Smoke detectors, faucets and light fixtures - all valued at $520 - were stolen Tuesday from a house under construction in the 4500 block of Dunton Terrace.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 20-year-old man of his wallet with $220 while the victim was leaning into his car parked in the 7100 block of Rolling Bend Road about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Franklin Precinct

Purse snatch: A woman, 27, was walking in the 3700 block of Old Court Road Monday when a man stole her purse containing $6 and credit cards.
