Deborah A. Jackson, 51, homemaker

Deborah A. Jackson, a homemaker and active church member, ended her life Monday. She was 51.

Mrs. Jackson, who lived in Severn, had suffered from depression in recent years, said her husband of 32 years, Robert Lawrence Jackson.

She was born Deborah Anne Quillen in Baltimore and raised in Severna Park. She was a 1970 graduate of Severna Park High School.

Mrs. Jackson was a longtime active communicant of St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church in Severn, where she volunteered with a committee that distributed food to the needy.

She enjoyed painting and drawing, and liked spending summers at Dewey Beach, Del.

A funeral Mass will be offered at noon tomorrow at St. Bernadette, 801 Stevenson Road in Severn.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jackson is survived by four daughters, Lisa Marie Lingis of Farmingdale, N.J., Susan Jackson Spiegel of Lighthouse Point, Fla., and Wendy C. Jackson and Lauren Anne Jackson, both of Severn; her mother, Barbara Ann Quillen of Severn; a brother, Frederick M. Quillen of Severn; two sisters, Karen Q. Trettin and Suzanne Q. Morris, both of Severna Park; and two grandchildren.
