HOWARD CRIME REPORT

The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Blue Wing Court: 4900 block, Oakland Mills. Two men assaulted and robbed a pizza delivery driver about 8 p.m. Dec. 13. The men punched him several times in the head.

Oakland Mills Road: 7000 block, Oakland Mills. Six laptop computers were stolen from Beam Hit, a business, Dec. 13 or 14.

Basket Ring Road: 9600 block, Oakland Mills. One or more assailants struck a man with an object similar to a baseball bat and stole his wallet and other items about 8 p.m. Dec. 15.

Flag Flower Place: 5700 block, Long Reach. Someone entered a home through an unlocked window and stole a video game system, games, digital video disc players, a stereo, and a camera Dec. 15.

Jackson Pond: Long Reach. Someone walking on a foot path was struck in the head with a baseball bat Dec. 17. Three assailants demanded money, but when they discovered the victim had none they fled.

West Columbia

Little Patuxent Parkway: 10400 block, Town Center. Someone smashed the front window and broke into the manager's office at That's Amore restaurant early Dec. 24. An attempt to break into a safe was unsuccessful.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Town & Country Boulevard: 9100 block, Ellicott City. Someone entered a first-floor apartment through a sliding glass door that had a defective lock and stole jewelry and Christmas gifts Dec. 15.
